Introduction to Electricity and Magnetism

This course is an introduction to electromagnetism. Applications of electromagnetism to simple circuits (combining resistors, capacitors and inductors) are presented. The course concludes with an introduction to Maxwell's equations. Some laboratory experiments are scheduled. PREREQ: PHYS 1006 or 1206, PHYS 1007 and MATH 1036/7; or equivalent. (lec 3) cr 3.
