Ecology of Human Populations

This course provides an understanding of ecological principles in the context of human impacts on natural environments. Organismal, population, community, and ecosystem level ecology are illustrated using topical environmental concerns including the effects of toxicants, individual and population growth, ecological community composition, and energy and nutrient flow through food webs. PREREQ: ENSC 1406 and ENVI 1507 or BIOL 1506/7 or BIOL 1000. (lec 3, tut 2) cr 3.
